"The Face in the Mirror" Series

"Tough Questions" Series
MESSAGE SERIES

"The Face in the Mirror" was a 6 week series that compelled members to take a close look at their own human sin. For this series, I used reverse type to symbolize sins that could only be clearly seen when looking into the mirror. Posters were installed across from mirrors in restrooms throughout the church to grab attention, provoke thought and promote attendance. As each individual sin was addressed, it would "disappear" from the following Sunday's cover (with all sins forgiven at the series' end).

"Tough Questions" was a 12 week series on faith held at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond. On Sunday, the pastor's message would "answer" a question posed by members of the congregation such as "How can I have faith and no doubt?" To brand this series, I drew inspiration from the Constructivism design movement, using bold imagery and harnessing the power of type.
